About BTR Appraise Ireland

My name is Mark Morgan. I am the founder of BTR Appraise Ireland and a Real Estate Appraiser who has been looking at the Irish Real Estate BTR market since the start of its meteoric rise in 2017/18. Since 2016, I have been building bespoke investment and development models covering a broad range of asset classes in areas such as Cork, Dublin and commuter towns. Having worked for a London RE Investment and Development firm and had the chance to meet many international funds and investors to discuss BTR and the Irish market, I have been put in a good place to share advice on aspects of real estate financial modelling. I have also worked in the Irish residential letting and management business since the age of 15 and hold a PSRA licence.

BTR Appraise Ireland was set up as a pet project during covid lockdown to help maintain existing skills as well as develop new ones. This website serves as a basis for introductory analysts, or those looking to further hone their core modelling skills. It is also a place for originators hoping to get a better grasp of how larger companies are looking at potential acquisitions.
